# Facilitator Guide

> What you can do as a Facilitator, in the order you'll typically do it.

<Note>
  This guide tells you *when* and *why* to use each feature. For details on how
  a feature works, follow the links into the [Knowledge
  Base](/knowledge-base/getting-started). Your access is scoped to your assigned
  **county**.
</Note>

## 1. Get set up

Accept your invitation and log in — see [Getting Started](/knowledge-base/getting-started).

## 2. Set up a flow

[Create a flow](/knowledge-base/webapp-flows#create-a-flow) for the budget process you're facilitating, in your county.

## 3. Upload supporting documents

[Upload the budget document, memo, or infopack](/knowledge-base/webapp-documents#upload-a-document) so participants can review it.

## 4. Bring in participation data

Set up [KoboToolbox or Google Sheets connectors](/knowledge-base/webapp-connectors) if you're collecting feedback through those channels.

## 5. Onboard Champions

[Invite Champions](/knowledge-base/webapp-users#invite-a-user) (and other users at or below your level) to the flow.

## 6. Run the flow

Update the [flow stage](/knowledge-base/webapp-flows#overview-tab) as facilitation progresses.

## 7. Review incoming feedback

[Validate incoming feedback](/knowledge-base/webapp-feedback#validate-feedback) as it comes in. Note: approving or rejecting uploaded documents is a Coordinator/SuperAdmin action — see the [Coordinator Guide](/role-guides/coordinator).

## 8. Analyze results

[Run analysis and explore the dashboard](/knowledge-base/webapp-analytics) once enough feedback has been collected.

## 9. Close out

Once the public participation cycle is over, [complete all the steps](/knowledge-base/webapp-flows#stage-instructions) to complete the flow.

## Manage your team

[Edit users](/knowledge-base/webapp-users#edit-a-user) and [activate/deactivate accounts](/knowledge-base/webapp-users#activate-or-deactivate-a-user) within your county.
